Announcing a New partnership

Good Neighbors is thrilled to announce that we have a new partner in our work to restore hope by repairing homes for low-income families! The Foxwynd Foundation DAF funded the Foxwynd Foundation’s generous grant to Good Neighbors for the expansion of our Healthy Homes program.

Healthy Homes provides accessibility modifications for homeowners with mobility challenges. These homeowners may be elderly, living with chronic disabling conditions, or recently discharged from care facilities and are at greater risk for slips, trips, and falls. For a modest cost, Good Neighbors can install wheelchair ramps, grab bars, handrails, and tub cut-outs that will make homes safer and more accessible. By significantly reducing the risk of at-home accidents or injuries through home modification and home repairs, Good Neighbors can help homeowners remain in their homes and age-in-place.

The Foxwynd Foundation, founded by the Bentley family, seeks to uphold the family’s commitment to philanthropy and humanitarian causes with particular emphasis on healthcare, housing, and sustainable environmental initiatives. Foxwynd Foundation’s Executive Director, Pamela Villagra, stated “We are eager to collaborate with [Good Neighbors] as we share a common goal. Your dedication to this cause aligns perfectly with our mission.” Good Neighbors is honored to partner with the Foxwynd Foundation to make homes warmer, safer, drier, and healthier for low-income families in need.
